About AltaMed Health Network, Inc.

AltaMed Health Network, Inc. (AHN) was licensed as a Restricted Knox-Keene (RKK) Health Plan Organization to provide Medi-Cal managed care services to its member enrollees. Effective January 1, 2020, AHN will take on institutional risk for the members currently served by AltaMed Health Services and OmniCare.

Governed by a board of directors, the AHN mission is to improve the lives of Californians by providing access to qualified providers in the service area most convenient to our members. Our goal is to deliver efficient, evidence-based medical care through a patient-centric care delivery model. 

Future plans include expanding services to individuals served by additional medical networks in other geographic areas.
